Yang Hu received the B.E. degree in electronic information engineering and the Ph.D. degree in signal and information processing from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2004 and 2009 respectively. She worked in Microsoft Research Asia as a research intern from Aug. 2005 to Jan. 2009. She was with the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies as a Research Associate from Mar. 2010 to Aug. 2015. From Sep. 2015 to July 2020, she was with the School of Information and Communication Engineering at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. She is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Information Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China.
